Entrance Exams

The type of entrance exams your child will need to prepare for depends on the schools you choose. Broadly, schools fall into two categories based on their testing strategies for new students:

  • Ages 7 to 12: Exams focus on English and logic.
  • Ages 13 to 15: Testing includes English, mathematics, logic, and, in some cases, science.
  • Ages 15 and Older: Students are tested in English, mathematics, and two additional subjects they intend to study as core high school subjects.

They will also evaluate the child’s behaviour, demeanour, and self-presentation skills.
