We structure our school admission process in well-defined stages, ensuring parents are informed and engaged throughout. By thoroughly explaining each stage, we help parents gain a clearer understanding of the principles and unique aspects of British education.

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. Families often develop a more refined vision of their educational goals through open discussions and exchanging opinions and aspirations.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!! Our process is flexible and tailored to each family's individual needs and characteristics. We consider these specific circumstances and provide personalised guidance, ensuring that the journey toward admission aligns seamlessly with the family’s values and expectations.

Stage 1: Initial Consultation and Introduction

In this stage, we aim to gather as much information as possible about the child, including their abilities, achievements, hobbies, and personality. We also consider the parents' vision, preferences, and specific goals for their child’s education.

During the consultation, we explain the nuances of the British education system, covering key aspects such as the appropriate age for admission, academic prospects, and opportunities. Parents are encouraged to ask questions to gain a deeper understanding.

Consultations can be conducted via phone or online. Following the consultation, we provide parents with a tailored curriculum based on the child’s age and a general admission roadmap (excluding specific school recommendations).

Stage 2: Assessing the Student’s Abilities

The second stage involves evaluating the child’s academic preparedness through:

Comprehensive Written Testing: Assessing proficiency in key subjects.
Oral Interviews: Conducted in English, either in person or online.

Stage 3: School Selection and Registration

Based on the assessment results, the parents' preferences, and our in-depth knowledge of British schools, we provide a curated list of recommended schools that align with the child’s needs and aspirations.

We typically advise against applying to an excessive number of schools (no more than 4-5) to ensure the child can effectively manage their time and adequately prepare for entrance exams. This focused approach increases the chances of a successful admission while reducing unnecessary stress.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!! At BRIT, we are not bound by a fixed list of partner schools. Instead, we focus on finding the most suitable school for each child based on their unique strengths, interests, and potential. Our primary goal is to truly understand and connect with each child, enabling us to identify schools that align perfectly with their needs and aspirations.

We handle the entire communication process with schools and registration, taking the stress off parents. Additionally, we assist in preparing all the necessary paperwork. Your consultant will provide tailored recommendations on presenting the documents effectively, ensuring they reflect your child's achievements and potential.

The Standard Document Package Typically Includes:

Passports of the child and parents.
A transcript of the child’s grades from their current school.
A letter of recommendation from teachers.
Certificates and diplomas highlighting the child’s achievements.
A motivation letter written by the child.
Any additional supporting documents.

Stage 4: Entrance Tests and Academic Preparation

Once the preferred schools are identified and registration is complete, we provide parents with a detailed schedule of entrance tests and develop a comprehensive strategy for the child’s academic preparation. If required, we also assist parents in finding experienced tutors familiar with specific schools’ curricula and exam formats. What We Offer:

Access to past test examples to help the child understand the format and difficulty level.
Interview preparation, including guidance on what the school expects, potential questions, and how to present themselves confidently.

Entrance tests can be conducted:

On-site at the school.
Remotely online.
In the companies globally, which schools approve and assign as their tests and exams invigilators.

We oversee the entire testing process, including coordinating with schools to arrange testing at a time and location convenient for the child and family. Sometimes, we can negotiate flexible testing dates to accommodate individual schedules better.

Stage 5: School Visits

Families can visit schools at various stages, either before or after registration. You can visit schools during the entrance testing process or limit visits to schools where your child has already passed the testing successfully.

A BRIT consultant will guide you through all available options for visiting schools of interest. We accompany families during these visits to:

Provide a proper introduction to the school.
Ensure you thoroughly understand each educational institution, its facilities, and its atmosphere.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!! Many schools now offer a "Remote Visit" option, which allows families to explore the school virtually. This includes an online tour of the campus and facilities, as well as opportunities to interact with the principal, admissions committee, and teachers. A remote visit provides a chance to better understand the school and ask questions, especially if a trip to the UK doesn’t fit your schedule.

Stage 6: Accepting a Place at School

Once schools have made their offers, we assist parents in comparing the options to choose the best fit for their child. Our process includes:

A detailed review of each school where a place has been offered.
Explaining the terms and conditions under which the place is offered.
Guiding parents through the deposit payment process to secure their child’s spot.
Completing all necessary registration paperwork.
